Shopping Vintage: The Basics
Why doesn't the size on the tag match what I usually wear?
Vintage sizing runs differently than modern sizing — a size 8 from the 1970s isn't the same as a size 8 today. For the best fit, go by the measurements listed on each piece rather than the tag. Grab something from your own closet that fits well, measure it flat, and compare. It's the closest thing to trying it on.
What if something arrives different than described?
Email me at info@shopseventhrow.com and I'll take care of it — refund or store credit, whichever works better for you. More detail under Shipping & Returns Policy.
Shipping & Delivery
How fast do you ship?
Within 2 business days of your order, in most cases. During busier sale periods (Black Friday, holidays) it can take up to 5 days.
Do you ship outside the US?
Yes, via UPS. Customs fees and import taxes are the recipient's responsibility once the package arrives.
Can I pay for faster shipping?
Yes — just email me at info@shopseventhrow.com before you check out and I'll arrange it.
What happens if my package gets lost?
I'm not able to guarantee a replacement once a package is with UPS, but I'll always do what I can to help sort it out.
Returns & Exchanges
Can I return something?
We are happy to offer refunds and/or store credit for any misrepresentations. Please read descriptions carefully and feel free to reach out to us at info@shopseventhrow.com if you need additional information on a particular piece or to request a refund/ store credit. More detail under Shipping & Returns Policy.
Care & Longevity
How do I take care of vintage pieces?
Gently. Hand washing or a delicate cycle is usually the safest choice, especially for natural fibers like silk, linen, cotton, and wool. If you're not sure about a specific piece, just ask — I'm happy to walk you through it.
Will it actually hold up?
It already has. That's part of what makes vintage worth it — these pieces were built to last, and with a little care they'll continue to hold up well.
Shopping In Person
Can I shop with you in person?
Yes. You can find me at NYC-area markets, Hampton Flea, Not-A-Normal-Market, Manhattan Vintage, and local pop ups. Check the Markets page or Instagram for upcoming in person dates.
Is what's at the market the same as what's online?
Not always. Some pieces are market-only, and sometimes I'll pull something from the site to bring to a pop-up. Instagram is the best place to see what's currently available where.
About Seventh Row
Why is everything a one-off?
Our vintage pieces are one of a kind. Each piece is chosen by hand for its quality and character, so once it sells, it's genuinely gone. In house collection is made in small batches when available.
Is this a "sustainable fashion" brand?
Sustainability is an extension of what I do, not the main point. I love vintage because of its beauty and craftsmanship— giving pieces a second life is universally good and that is just a gift.
